Canvas is MIT’s modern, easy-to-use Learning Management System (LMS) that brings instructors, students, and course content together in one place. It’s cloud-based, so you can access all of your courses in real-time from anywhere, on any Internet-connected device.

To login to Canvas:

  1. Go to https://canvas.mit.edu/
  2. Select one of the following and follow the on-screen instructions to login:
    • MIT Students, Faculty and Staff
    • MIT Alumni
    • MIT Partners and Affiliates

Instructure provides 24/7 end-user support as part of MIT’s Enterprise license to faculty, staff, and teaching assistants by phone or chat.
